Thynian Disks
From my latest expedition I brought set of obsidian disks with me. All of them have strange diagrams in them and some has unknown lettering in addition. One of them I recognize as a blueprint of a mechanical planetarium and two are clearly diagrams of solar system. Meaning of the rest I can not guess and the whole thing is complete mystery to me. I decided to call them to Thynian Disks, according to the jungle where I discovered them.
These disks are now available for people interested in peculiar items and strange mysteries. I have them set up in my workshop as a decoration and believe that they would work very well in ruins setting too.
Available as singe disks or pack of seven. Since they are copyable and modifiable, you can have as many as you want, in various sizes.

Antikythera Necklace
Antikythera Necklace is miniaturised Antikythera Device that you can hang around your neck as a fashionable decorative piece. On top of just looking really neat, it tracks locations of sun, moon and planets and shows current phase of the moon.

Small Heliocentric Model
This small heliocentric model is my latest item in astronomy category. It displays motion of earth and moon around the sun in real-time. If that is too slow (granted, full orbit of earth takes one whole year after all), it can be run in accelerated mode where one year takes just a little over one hour.

Antikythera Mechanism
Antikythera mechanism has been puzzling scientist and historians since it’s discovery in 1901. Mechanism has been dated to 150–100 BC and technological artifacts of similar complexity did not reappear until a thousand years later. It looks like that the mechanism was able to track planetary positions and keep track of different kinds of calendar systems. And all this with mechanical gears.
Have a look at wikipedia article for more information on this fascinating subject. I have been captivated by the idea of somebody solving all those complex calculations and capturing them into mechanical shape. And all of it without being able to use telescopes or space ships.
I created a similar device that keeps track of sun, moon and five planets on their journey through zodiac ring. It also displays the current phase of the moon. Device has short user instructions engraved on the inner surface of the cover and stylised geocentric solar system on the front cover. As usual, the main store has demo model for people to have a look at before purchasing.

CS-2 Head Up Display
Iron Bird store now carries CS-2 Head Up Displays. These little gadgets are perfect for spicing up sci-fi outfit. Display module can be folded on front of the eye or side of the head and has 4 different modes with animations. Spectrum display on the headphone part is animated and antenna on the back can be hidden. All of this is of course menu driven, so users don’t need to memorize chat commands.
Price for this little gadget is 100L$ and it comes with automatic update script that will deliver possible new versions of the gadget automatically and free of charge.

Scripted Headset
After I realised how many of those freebie headsets people were getting, I wanted to create more updated version of it. The scripted version has a colour changer script and particle poofer for musical notes and everything is menu driven.
However, best thing about this (at least in my opinion) is that it’s both copyable and modifiable. It can be easily used as a base for own pair of headsets that nobody else has.
After learning some new things about astronomy, I finished geocentric model shown above. This really neat gadget shows position of the sun and the moon in relation to earth and automatically updates them as the time passes by. It’s probably slowest moving object I created, since the sun takes one year for a full rotation. And it definitely is one of those that I’m most proud of.
As always, there is a sample model set up in Iron Bird store, if you would like to have a look at it.
As mentioned earlier, I did an updated version of the Bee Nest. Basic settings are the same as earlier, but now user has option to set the nest to randomly rez bees. This will make the nest more lively, without using lots of prims, since the bees are temp-rezzed.
I also set up a demo of the Steam Bee Nest in my in-world store at Blorkus. This way you can have a look at it before purchasing.
